The benefits of fasting, both spiritually and physically, are enormous. Besides helping to detox the body and give the digestive system a well deserved rest, it also helps to regulate insulin levels, boost the brain chemicals and give a sluggish metabolism a kick in the right direction.
The beauty industry has become way more sophisticated over the last few years and almost every lady I know (from teens to grandmothers) have a set of makeup brushes these days. Gone are those simple days of foundation, “rouge” (that’s what my grandma called blush) and some lipstick. Us gals now contour, sculpt, highlight and blend…all which require a nice set of makeup brushes, and the more the better ofcourse:)
For those of you know me well, I really love food! Good food that raises the bench mark in what the art of cooking is all about of course. My all time favorite show in the universe is Master Chef ( it has to be the Australian version- the best dynamic and energy of the whole franchise). I could literally watch that show non-stop for days and do nothing else! It’s always happy place and I learn great ideas and tips that inspire me in the kitchen.
Have you ever had one of those Eureka moments where you stop and ask yourself, “What I am doing?? This doesn’t make any sense!”
That’s what happened to me a few years ago when it came to all the cleaning products that I would regularly buy from the supermarket to make sure my house was always spick and span. It would come to no surprise to most of us that the standard cleaning product brands that we have come to know and love are anything but natural, in fact all chemical based and quite hazardous to the health. If you have ever scrubbed the floor with bleach would you quickly come to know that some of your brain cells we’re fizzing out. Seriously.
