My Natural Weight Release Secrets

Ok, so for the first time in my life I’m having to be bilingual!  That’s amazing, because I’ve been shying away from speaking Arabic for years and now for the first time in my life I’ve having to accommodate my English and Arabic readers and viewers. Thank you so much to all of you!

Following my YouTube Video last week on my weight release (I prefer not to say weight loss, because if you lose something that means you are always looking for it) secrets, here’s a review of the main points on how I managed to shed 20+ kilos after having three kids in three years:

1. Green Tea

Drinking plenty of high quality green tea will speed up your metabolism to help you to burn more fat while continuing your day to day activities. You will need at least 5 freshly brewed cups a day to make sure your metabolism is kicked up a notch.  Plus it has plenty of other health benefits for your skin and body, along with stress relief.

2. Apple Cider Vinegar

I’ve written about this one before but it really does work! Place 2 tablespoons of Apple Cider vinegar in room temperature on an empty stomach, first thing in the morning is ideal, and watch your waist trim down in a hurry! My father always incorporated Apple Cider Vinegar into his special pre-workout mix before he went to weight train to help him burn more fat during his workout.

Organic is best and it should have “the mother” inside (fibers of the apple).

3. Minimal Diary Product Intake

I am a huuuuugeee cheese lover, I could literally eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Although it does have some health benefits such as calcium and some protein, it does contain fats, that if not managed properly, will keep the glued right on.  I really overdosed on all things diary during my pregnancies so cutting down on cheese to twice a week and either yoghurt or lebneh once in a day, I feel much lighter and the kilos came off much faster.

4. Exercise

No matter how you much you might want to escape this one and create excuses, exercise and moving the body is still a must. At least 3-4 times a week is necessary to help you to get toned and trim.  It doesn’t have to be the gym, it can be a jog around the neighborhood or even a fun dance class.  Exercise comes in many ways so find what will work for you.

5. Eat Home Cooked Foods

Here in Dubai, we definitely have an eating out culture.  But eating out a lot wether it’s fine dining or gourmet on the run, it’s still hard to keep up with the calorie intake and the quality and quantity of ingredients that you are eating.  I really found eating home cooked foods are best and healthiest.  This really makes a difference for your long term health and managing your weight.

6. No Sugar, substitute with Agave or Honey instead

Despite being very healthy and conscious of what I put into body, I still love to eat high quality sweets from time to time.  At home we no longer use sugar to bake or for tea or coffee, we now substitute with Agave syrup or even honey.  These are much better for you and help to keep your sugar levels under control.

7. No processed foods or Fast Foods

This is a big NO NO in my book.  We never eat any fast foods such as Burger King, KFC and so on and I never buy anything processed.  I have any doubt about what the ingredients or contents are, then I simply do not eat it! By cutting these kinds of foods out of your diet then weight management is a whole lot easier and you will feel (mentally, emotionally and physically) so much better.

8. Patience

This is actually the most important point because we tend to expect everything to happen now or tomorrow.  This process may weeks, months or a year depending on various factors so please be patient with your self and be your own best friend in the meanwhile.  All the best!
